Mayabeque, Cuba_ The collective of the non-agricultural cooperative Venancio Núñez, of Güines, deserved the seat of the provincial act for the Light Industry Worker’s Day, for of the integral results in the economic and union field. 

Luis Conde, president of the Cooperative for the manufacture of furniture, mentioned among the main successes the 35-percent over-execution of the production plan.

So far this year, this center earns dividends of around 9 million pesos when manufacturing furniture for tourist centers in the provinces of Havana and Matanzas.

About the commitment of the workers in the emulative movement for the Sendas del Triunfo, Armando Pérez Ávila, secretary of the union section spoke.

The Venancio Núñez cooperative, the only one of its kind in the country, consolidates its work this year, explained Isabel Ortiz Martínez, general secretary of the Trade Union of Industries Workers in Mayabeque.

These workers assume the challenge of increasing the quality of services, in addition to the control and rational and efficient use of available resources.
