Mayabeque, Cuba_ The production of food and the contribution to the economy of the country distinguish the agricultural company of Batabanó in Mayabeque. 

The director of technical and development of the entity, José Antonio Domínguez Troche, states that 2017 became a stage of progress from the diversification of crops.

Last year they had a real of 72 thousand tons and programmed 83 thousand for 2018 of food, vegetables, grains and fruits. They sow around 500 hectares of potatoes annually.

The cold season offer more contributions due to its potential in other plantations, to which the campaign of the queen of the viands, and the bean with some 800-900 hectares in the territory is added.
