Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Business Unit of Base Majana Unit represents the small livestock producers of Mayabeque, in the Agricultural Fair (FIAGROP) 2018. 

In this edition of FIAGROP, the farmers from Jaruco exceeded, in two days of competition, the results of previous ones.

On Tuesday, the collective of workers was there, like a large family, to listen to the opinions of the jury. This is confirmed by Yusmel Denis Hernández, director of the entity, according to the website of Radio Jaruco.

Yesterday was a complicated day because the two races with more producers were in competition: Los Naranjos de Artemisa; Triángulo Tres, of Camagüey, and the Genetics of the Small Cattle Company, of Cienfuegos.

The most enjoyed championships are those of the breeds of goats and alpine goats. In the males of the Saanen rasa, we reached the reserved to champion and the young champion and the first two places in their categories, he added.

In the adult stallions, the goat was first in the category of one to two years, he became an adult champion and ended up being the Fair's Grand Champion, because it was racially the strongest. Afterwards, a sanen reproducer was first place in its category, reserved adult champion and Grand Champion, competing with one of the best goats; the one of the Naranjos, Denis Hernández indicated.

The outstanding participation contributes to materialize the desire to return to be the Genetic Company founded by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, in 1961.

The 32 awards received so far, with only 16 animals, support the efforts of the producers to guarantee the best stallions of these three breeds of goats in Cuba.
