Mayabeque, Cuba_ A greater efficiency in the industrial processes characterizes the Business Unit of Base (UEB) Boris Luis Santa Coloma, of Madruga, in the present stage. 

The productive results are guaranteed, thanks to the effort of the workers of the entity to improve the economic indicators in the sugar harvest 2017-2018.

In 116 working days, 15,500 tons of the grass were obtained, fulfilling the expectations of the Azcuba group and the reprogramming after the climatological inconveniences.

The UEB executives reported that to date they have sent more than 213 thousand 400 tons of cane to the mills.

From the stability in the industrial processes, the favorable response of the machinery and the punctuation of the cuts of the grass, the workers predict to reach the 30 thousand tons of sugar, necessary for the success of the current campaign.
