Mayabeque, Cuba_ Some 50,000 residents of Güines will receive safe water, after the assembly work of the new pipeline. 

According to Marcos Alcántara, director of the Base Business Unit (UEB) of Aqueduct and Sewerage in the territory, the service to the inhabitants will be improved by pumping a large amount of the precious liquid.

In the neighborhood of Leguina and other areas of the territory such as La Textilera, El Reparto, Ayala and Zona de Desarrollo, they will optimize the conditions for water supply.

At this moment they are executing a project to change the pipeline and thus insert a direct network from the Leguina supply source to satisfy the demand of the Aleida Fernández Chardiet Clinical-Surgical Hospital.
