Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Conrado Benitez Electrical Conductors Enterprise, ELEKA, located in San Jose de las Lajas, complies with the production plan in the first months of 2018. 

In the first quarter of the year they guaranteed sales to all customers, including the Stainless Steel Company (ACINOX), ETECSA, the Electric Union, the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) and the AZCUBA Group.

According to the director of ELEKA, Reinier Guillén Otero, they have the necessary raw material to achieve efficiency indicators in the next stage, starting with the recovery of scrap metal.

Thermal copper wire, electric conductors up to 1 Kv, telephone cables, enameled wires, among others, appears among the production of the entity.

Their productions, whose quality is guaranteed through a process of continuous improvement, are destined to social programs and markets in Central America and the Caribbean.

Unique of its kind in the country and located in the province of Mayabeque, this factory was integrated in October 2005 to the Industrial Group of the Siderurgy (ACINOX), of the Ministry of the Sidero Mechanical Industry (SIME).
