Mayabeque, Cuba_ The call for applications for subsidies at the Municipal Housing Direction is open in San José de las Lajas, according to Cristian Balladares Domínguez, deputy director of the entity.  

The owner must present the property of the house, the identity card and a letter explaining the reasons for the request.

To date, they have received more than 60 requests for the construction or repair of the house by their own efforts, according to the provisions of agreement 83 of the Council of Ministers published in the Official Gazette of 2016.

These modifications to the program specify the public disclosure of the call, while those who previously required a subsidy must formalize their request again before April 20.

The municipality has more than 220 thousand pesos that will benefit the first cases approved by the Council of the Municipal Administration once the term of the summon closes.

They will also prioritize those whose housing conditions are critical, affected by weather events and social cases identified by their low economic absorbency and other situations, taking into account that the State will deliver up to 85 thousand pesos to the owner depending on the need.
