Mayabeque, Cuba_  A total of 168 taxpayers, in Melena del Sur, had presented their sworn statement on personal income at the end of March.

According to Brenda Domínguez Crespo, specialist in charge of the self-employment activity in the Tax Administration Office (ONAT) of the territory, this represents 85 percent of those who are obliged to do so.

The process is extended until April 30, and there are only 35 people remaining in the town to do so, including 32 non-state workers and 3 artists.

Domínguez Crespo highlighted the increase of those who received the five percent bonus for having declared before February 28. This year the figure was of 23 contributors.

The specialist urged to use the different ways to carry out the process, while alerting about the importance of previously reviewing all the data and, if it is to pay, only the taxpayer must take the vector fiscal model to the bank.
