Mayabeque, Cuba_ Proposals for solutions with impact on the economic development of the province and at the country level were presented at the territorial event of Scientific Societies of the Association of Economists and Accountants (ANEC) of this province.

The meeting took place in the Refractory Materials Company, the only one of its kind in Cuba and outstanding by the implementation of projects that dignify the progress of the nation.

The works contribute to the participation of professionals linked to the different specialties of the Economic Sciences in the development process and increase the control and efficiency of the financial-economic system.

Of the main topics analyzed by the participants, the vice president of the ANEC provincial, industrial engineer Ana Ibis Sierra Caraballo, said: "this is an example of how economists support local development, the solution of problems that territories have with their proposals for solutions, aimed at import substitution, accounts payable and receivable, wages, investment part, very important for our territory ".

"It would be good to investigate how the 1% contribution is being used in each of the municipalities, for the importance of that contribution in social and economic life”, Sierra Caraballo also said.

The Executive President of the Association of economists in Güines, David Álvarez López, said that this structure sent four works to the economic event, as a preamble to the Provincial Assembly of the ANEC, and due to their meaning and scope and the proposal they made, they have an extraordinary value ".
