Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Skating Cup 58 Anniversaries of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER), was successfully developed in the José Martí Park in the municipality of San Nicolás.

Twenty athletes participated in the segment. This is the first skating event in that territory. The most outstanding athlete in the less than 13 years category was Franklin Álvarez Torres, a student at the Pedrín Troya School. He won the gold in the 50, 100, 400 and 800 meters.

According to information from the sports correspondent, Alfredo Rodríguez, for the girls stood out, Helen Roque Álvarez, Karina Aroche and a little girl of only 7 years old, Nelis Regalado Pérez, who competed in the under 10 category and took first places in the tests of 50 and 100 meters.

All these athletes are practicing for the provincial contest of this sport, to take place on March, in the capital of Mayabeque.
