Mayabeque, Cuba_ Young university students from the province of Mayabeque, linked to medical sciences careers, are carrying out educational chats in schools, workplaces and in the community, in defense of the health of the people and as part of the program of activities for the 97th anniversary of the University Student Federation (FEU in Spanish), to be held on December 20, 2019.

The objective is to promote good practices and healthy lifestyles to prevent transmissible diseases and contribute to raising the health culture of the people.

In this way the future medical professionals in Mayabeque become familiar with the community work of health promotion, one of the pillars that sustain the Cuban public health system.

In these visits to state entities and population settlements, the young people also speak of their organization, which represents the students of higher education, and which has the purpose of forging for the current society, the new man desired by Che.

In this calendar, they will participate in productive activities to promote socioeconomic programs and contribute to the development of the demarcation.
