Mayabeque, Cuba_ "I imagine the future: a new training center for highly qualified specialists ...", with these words said by the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz initiated the provincial act of graduation of health technicians based in the Medical Sciences Daculty, located in Güines.

The graduates belong to the specialties of Nursing, Electro medicine, Dental Care, Surveillance and Vector Control and Health Statistics.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Ismary Díaz Cabrera, First Secretary of the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC in Spanish) in the demarcation and Yosvany Valera Díaz, Head of the Provincial Section of Nursing

In the central words the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Mayabeque, Dr. Yanelis Reyes Fernandez, said: "The academic training of these graduates was carried out successfully, with the active participation of all students, teachers and workers in the curricular and extracurricular activities, among which stand out the actions of antivectorial fight, the participation in the scientific student days, encounters with the history, among other central tasks".

Reyes Fernández exhorted the 124 graduates to endorse the new Cuban constitution on February 24 and to show solidarity with the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Isis Rojas Carrillo, of the dental care attention specialty, was recognized as the best graduate. "It has meant time of sacrifice, a lot of study, delivery to my specialty."

Dr. Yanelis Reyes Fernández, exclusively for Radio Mayabeque digital, said: "Our province undoubtedly continues to advance in the training of the human resources needed by the health system, to strengthen services and improve the satisfaction of the population in Mayabeque."
