Mayabeque, Cuba_ More than one million 400 thousand tons of cane have already been processed in the current harvest in the Boris Luis Santa Coloma, Business Unit of Base (UEB) for a 95 percent compliance of the sugar production plan foreseen until the date.

This result was achieved in 90 days, with stable grinds thanks to the actions of men and women who work both in industry and agriculture in Madruga, distant about 61 kilometers from Havana, the Cuban capital.

The collective and individual commitment is to maintain the productive rhythm, make the estimated figures for the UEB a reality, and as in other occasions, support the provincial effort to fulfill the sugar production plan, elusive during the last years, a reality.
