Mayabeque, Cuba_ Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel and the Council of Ministers are visiting several places of economic and social interest in the province of Mayabeque.
Díaz-Canel began his tour by the Meat Company of Nueva Paz, where he verified the efficiency of the elaboration processes.
"Improve the production yield, take into account the criteria of the population, give priority to quality, make a good product and diversify", were the words of the leader in the entity.
In the Agricultural Production Cooperative (CPA) Amistad Cubano-Bulgara in the municipality of Güines, he became interested in the harvest of the potato and the rotation of the plantations.
In this territory he also visited the Services and Procedures Unit in Güines, the only one of its kind in the demarcation, which facilitates the procedures related to housing, civil registry, physical planning, among others in an integrated way.
To eliminate the bureaucratic and conceptual obstacles to boost work in these institutions, Díaz-Canel summoned.
During the governmental journey to the territory, it was held the Extended Board of Directors of Public Health, attended by the Minister, José Ángel Portal Miranda, the Provincial Director, Dr. Armando Wong Corrales and other officials of the sector.
The member of the Political Bureau and Vice-president of the Councils of State and Ministers, Dr. Roberto Morales Ojeda, exchanged with professors and students, of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, on the educative educational process and valued of positive the work of the Pedagogical School Pedro Albizu Campos, of the territory.
The Energas Joint Company, located in Santa Cruz del Norte, was visited by Vice President Ricardo Cabrisas, the Minister of Energy and Mines, Raúl Barreiro, and Foreign Trade Minister Rodrigo Malmierca, where they congratulated the workers for the results related to electricity generation and gas service to the capital.
On the other hand, they visited the Ernesto Che Guevara Thermoelectric Plant, to deepen on the economic-productive achievements of the plant at the end of 2018 and the current months of2019.
The Cuban president also visited the Construction Materials Production Center, of the local industry, in San José de las Lajas, capital of Mayabeque.
