Mayabeque, Cuba_ The energy and productive pole of northern Mayabeque, is consolidated with a comprehensive investment program, with foreign capital, which will increase efficiency and reduce imports.

During his visit to Energas S.A, Cabrisas learned about the technological improvement project to expand the capacity of the plant.

For the foreign part, the general manager of the entity, the Argentine Fernando Gil, spoke of the possibilities of the opening of Cuba to foreign capital.

The Ernesto Guevara de la Serna Thermoelectric Power Plant is the largest investment executed in the demarcation, with financing and advice from Russia.

According to Minister Raúl García, when the expansion works are completed, it will be the one with the greatest generation capacity in the country.
