Mayabeque, Cuba_ A special morning meeting dedicated to March 8, International Women’s Day, was held today at the Radio Mayabeque station. In a simple activity, but full of the love they deserve, the union section, the board of directors, the Party and all the workers of the center dedicated space to recognize the work of the women that every day make the magic of the radio possible.

Because no doubts, this means of diffusion in Mayabeque has the name of a woman. Many are the women who have filled with their talent to radio activity in the youngest province of the country, essential names of some that are no longer among us as Mirta González or Marina Larrazaleta and others who put their effort to inform, entertain ... to turn into sound each of the images that surround us.

Journalists, broadcasters, program directors, sound makers, consultants, specialists ... The indispensable force of female talent that makes our work invincible, filled with the value of their love.

The same women that are mothers, sisters, friends, companions, who arrive even without being called, because they know where they have to be to fight their daily battles.

To those, we have the obligation to recognize them the 365 days a year, but especially this March 8, which the calendar indicates as their international day.

Because the reasons are enough, because what we do to thank them will never be enough, today at Radio Mayabeque the main reason for celebration is dedicated to you, Women, makers of dreams. Once again Congratulations.
