Mayabeque, Cuba_ The installation of the first photovoltaic park will begin this year in Mayabeque, with the objective of prioritizing the generation of electricity in the country, based on the use of renewable sources.

According to the director of the Electricity Company in the demarcation, Iscander Morales, the investment must culminate this 2019 and will allow a considerable saving of the generation in the schedule of higher solar incidence, around noon.

This helps replace diesel and the base plants, Morales said.

The installation of the photovoltaic park El vidrio in the province of Mayabeque will favor the environment by generating electricity in a clean and safe way.
