Mayabeque, Cuba_ March 13 is meant as the Day of the Cuban Architect, about the theme the President of the Base Section number 6 of the National Union of Architects and Construction Engineers of Cuba (UNAICC), Ivett Rodríguez Hernández, refers to the main activities on the occasion of the celebration.

The day will begin with a political act, at 3:00 in the afternoon, in the capital of Mayabeque, San José de las Lajas.

Subsequently, the exhibition of the works presented in the Lázaro Hernández Hernández in Memoriam contest will be inaugurated at the Provincial Art Gallery, located in Güines.

The architects of the demarcation play a fundamental role in the beautification of the city and in the popular movement Mayabeque Creciendo Juntos.

"It is important to respect the image, preserve the heritage and take care of the new urban regulations," Rodríguez Hernández said.
