Mayabeque, Cuba_ The inhabitants of the Popular Council Tapaste, in San José de las Lajas, are celebrating the 231st Anniversary of the founding of this town.

The celebration began with an exchange with the history teacher, Maydelina Noa, with the participation of students from the primary and secondary education of the locality.

That first day, it was propitious to recognize the artistic trajectories of the troubadour Juan Álvarez Pérez and José Isabel Molina Álamo, popularly known as Ñeco el Barbero.

The event concluded with a cultural gala at La Rumba Recreation Center, with the presentation of the Sabor Latino dance group, the soloists Rey Acosta and Noel Hernández, as well as the artistic talent of the Casa de Cultura in Tapaste.

Today the program of activities proposes a children's carnival for the morning, with the comparsas of the educational centers of the Popular Council, and as special guest the participants will enjoy from the performance of the group Los Alacrancitos, from Havana.

During the afternoon, the population will enjoy the Retreta, with the municipal band of concert, in the park roundabout of that town and at night in the dance area, will be performing the Expresión Urbana group at 9:00 pm, and at 11:30 the Karamba band.

This celebration reserves for Saturday the children's activity Celebrando lo nuestro, with the dance ensembles Estudio y Raíces, the House of Culture Asunción Muñoz, of Tapaste, as well as girls and boys who cultivates the art of Repentismo.

In addition, the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) will join a Recreational Sports Festival, with games of participation, exhibitions of some disciplines, among other surprises.

Also, Saturday day holds the Traditions space, in the dining room of the System of Attention to the Family, with its host the soloist Juan Álvarez, accompanied by the artistic talent of that community.

To the dance area will arrive El Guateque, with the group Compass Lajero, Evening of Humor, with the Ninja and the Night of Download with the soloists Cruz Isaac, Nelsito, Yusley and Alex and will close with a dance with Alain Daniel and his orchestra.

The party will culminate on Sunday 17th, with a children's space entertained by Rami and his dolls, a Mexican afternoon with the Coyotes de Matanzas and a dance with One Life at 9:00 at night.
