Mayabeque, Cuba_ A new variety of tomato was obtained in the farm La Pedrera, Güines, more resistant to humidity given the climate conditions in Cuba.
According to the producer José Arturo Caraveo Álvarez who has spent 11 years in this agricultural work, this vegetable is less vulnerable to climate change and has great impact on planting crops, it also contributes to the sustainability of soils in coastal areas hit by hydrometeorological phenomena.
