Mayabeque, Cuba_ The textile confection workshop La Muñequita (The Little Doll), from Los Palos, in the municipality of Nueva Paz, has kept for several consecutive years the condition of Provincial Vanguard Group, in recognition of its outstanding work during the last calendars.
The factory, with more than four decades of exploitation, registers favorable economic indicators, achieved in spite of the obsolescence of the machinery in service and the poor constructive state of the premises, where currently work 38 seamstresses, besides a mechanic and an electrician.
Regarding the factors that positively affect the results, the director of the entity, Alina Cordero Ruano, explained that they are privileged because the raw material is not lacking, since the beginning of the year.
The labor collective faces with integrity the breaking of the textile machinery, in function of satisfying state commissions.
Cordero Ruano stressed the conviction to maintain this year the condition of Provincial Vanguard in the sector, for which they fulfill the productions above the agreed.
