Mayabeque, Cuba_ From March 20 to 24, Mayabeque will host the Book Fair, based at El Rodeo Fairgrounds of San José de las Lajas, the capital of the young province.
Many are the activities to promote the great festival of literature, the organizers of the event in the territory announced at a press conference.
"The cultural program has great surprises, among them: the inaugural gala, today March 19, in the amphitheater of El Rodeo”, commented the member of the Organizing Committee, Yosvanis Gil Mesa.
"We will enjoy the presence of groups and projects of the demarcation, in addition, guests from the theater for children, such as: the National Theater of Guiñol", he added.
"For the elderly we have reserved a fundamental space, in the mornings. We will be in the roundabout of the municipality's founding park, where literature will be related to the concert music of the bands at the provincial level”, Gil Mesa said.
"The writers from Mayabeque are the main guests. We present 10 titles of the Montecallado Publishing House”, the specialist of literary promotions of the Provincial Department of Culture, Juan Carlos García Guridi, said.
