Mayabeque, Cuba_ Scientists, technologists, producers and innovators from Mayabeque will participate in the XI Workshop on Science, Technology and Innovation (CIT @ Tenas 2019), which will be held this year at the tourist pole of Varadero.

The meeting, scheduled from October 22 to 25, will also host experts from Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Costa Rica and the United States, according to the Cuban News Agency.

According to information provided by the organizing committee, this edition will address issues related to the management of science, technology and innovation as social, interactive, distributed and systemic processes.

The Plaza América Convention Center, in Varadero, will host a well-structured program with conferences, symposiums, panels and sessions of oral presentations, as well as the organization of collateral events.

The agenda will include lectures on the work of the Ibero-American Observatory of Science, Technology and Society (OCTS), belonging to the Network of Indicators of Science and Technology (RICYT) of Ibero-American and Inter-American character.

The Cuban provinces of Pinar del Rio, Artemisa, Villa Clara, Camagüey, Santiago de Cuba, Guantanamo, Matanzas and Havana will also attend the meeting that has already been confirmed by countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Costa Rica and the United States.
