Mayabeque, Cuba_ Achieving compliance with the computerization plan and expanding communications in different ways is the objective for which some entities work together with the Telecommunications Company of Cuba (ETECSA), in the municipality of Melena del Sur.
Until now, different educational institutions have concreted projects. An example is the Pre-university Institute of Exact Sciences, Friendship Cuba Sweden, with an internet connection in the two laboratories, as well as the Urban Basic Secondary School, Frank PaÃs and the Primary School 5 de Noviembre. They also plan to include Rogelio Perea.
At a constructive level, they work on the maintenance of the Young Club number two and to conclude the deployment of the private network of the Communications Security System, in the Municipal Administration Council.
The director of ETECSA in the southern territory, Braulio Zamora Travieso, states that they strengthen the technological infrastructure in order to guarantee the support for the implementation of the proposed projects, which will increase the speed of transmission and help improve the functioning of the platforms
All these actions emanate thanks to the work they carry out throughout the country where it is of great importance to create all the conditions in terms of computerization, not only of the organizations but also of society.
