Mayabeque, Cuba: 2019 marks a year of very good results for the workers of the Telecommunications Company (ETECSA) in Madruga, in terms of the improvement and expansion of services, a fact recognized by the residents of the municipality.

The process of connectivity to state entities and companies and the internet access of individuals through the Wifi zones shows progress.

In this calendar, ETECSA also increased the commercialization of Nauta Hogar services, with about 300 beneficiaries, and residential fixed telephony with 164 new facilities in the town.

One of the possibilities that the residents in Madruga stands out the most is the mobile internet service, says engineer Reinier Méndez Morales, head of the Telecommunications Center in the territory.

During 2019, they installed public telephones in communities and rural settlements to facilitate communications in the most remote areas that lacked the important service.

The work will continue in 2020 according to the projections of the Company and is about to conclude a year in which the process of computerization of society advances in Madruga.
