Mayabeque, Cuba: The students of the Urban Pre-University (IPU) Juan Borrell of the municipality of Güines demanded with their signature the release of the former president of Brazil Liuz Inacio Lula Da Silva, unjustly imprisoned.

Young people from that school gave their opinion to Radio Mayabeque Digital: “We signed under the slogan “LULA LIBRE” to show our disagreement with his imprisonment under pressure from the United States government. He is a man of integrity, against the rulers who dominate the country today. That is why the students, as in all of Cuba, support the international campaign in favor of his release”.

"This situation reminds us of the efforts made by Fidel, Chávez and Lula, three men who fought and were guides for Latin America."

"Those who today direct the destinies of Brazil, led by Jair Balsonaro, decided to deprive the people of that nation of Cuban medical aid and attacked a human and solidarity act recognized throughout the world."

"I think we are looking for a better world and Lula must be released to continue contributing to his country as he did during his term, along with all the leaders of the region who opted for the improvement of the Latin American region."

Students from schools in the province of Mayabeque show these days their rejection of the permanence of former Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula de Silva behind bars, in a repudiable act and at the same time demonstrating the respect that his enemies have for him.
