Mayabeque, Cuba: The Trade and Gastronomy Unit in San Nicolás keeps the assurance of food supplies in every part of the territory, despite the existing situation with the fuel deficit.

According to the director of that business unit, Enel Alonso, the conditions for the transportation of the goods are created and more than 10 products are transferred to the population settlements.

"In the local processor they produce more than 30 varieties, but they must improve their access and commercialization," he said.

The objective is to require managers to ensure that citizens buy the products on equal terms.

Alonso insists on working on the basis of efficiency and quality to ensure adequate service to the population.
