Mayabeque, Cuba: Among the workers of La Demajagua Turkey Ceba Farm, in San Nicolás, there is a will of over-fulfilling the meat delivery plan in the breeding that is almost finished.

The center's veterinarian, Juan Oliver Hernández Trujillo, said that with the result they exhibit today, they demonstrate how much can be done in difficult conditions in the poultry production, one of the programs with the highest food priority.

Oliver added that there are only around 5000 animals left to market, turkeys that overcrowd the plan in pesos. They have already delivered the planned meat delivery in more than 233 tons and expect to contribute 115 tons more.

Regarding the behavior of other indicators Oliver added that today they present a four percent viability above the plan, which favors over-compliance with efficiency and considerable saving of inputs such as feed.

"This year the results will be superior to those of the previous calendar, with the effort and dedication of all workers," concluded Oliver.
