Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque will be recognized at the country level at the IX National Meeting of cooperative presidents that make up the avant-garde productive political movement of 70 tons of cane per hectare.
The event sponsored by AZCUBA, the Cuban Workers’ Confederation (CTC by its Spanish initials) and the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP in Spanish) will be based in Camagüey, on the first and second of November.
On this occasion, they will grant 2 gold and seven silver awards to producing centers of the province, in recognition of the results in the previous sugar harvest, with a special emphasis for the Credit and Services Cooperatives (CCS) Humberto Almeida, with a performance superior to the 73 tons per hectare and Cuba Socialista with more than 40.
“The silver awards will be delivered to the Agricultural Production Cooperative (CPA) Mártires del Moncada, the CCS Antonio Maceo and the Basic Payment Unit. The UBPC Camilo Cienfuegos, belonging to the UEB Gregorio Arlé Mañalich, of Melena del Sur and the (UBPC) Julio Rodríguez.roduction (UBPC) Manuel Enrique Fernández, all belonging to the central Héctor Molina, of San Nicolás ”, according to the Head of the Group, Yolexi Irma Cabrera.The list is closed by the CPA Benito Juárez, the Camilo Cienfuegos and the UBPC Camilo Cienfuegos, belonging to the UEB Gregorio Arlé Mañalich, from Melena del sur and the (UBPC) Julio Rodríguez.
