Mayabeque, Cuba: The second rendering account process of the delegate to its electors, in Madruga, reaches the 50 percent of its completion.
The secretary of the Municipal Assembly of Popular Power, Ana María Blanco SantaColoma, explained that the meetings are held with accepted quality.
The response of the electorate in that municipality of Mayabeque is an expression of the progress in the improvement of the Local Bodies of Popular Power, which seeks firstly to increase the credibility of the delegate and the management of the government.
“It recognizes that it is the space where the delegate gives an account of his management but it is also the stage for them to raise their concerns,” Blanco SantaColoma said.
In the 66 assemblies held so far in that location, 283 requirements were received, 202 are the responsibility of the administration and 181 to be resolved with popular participation.
On November 22, the second accountability process will conclude with the completion of the 136 planned assemblies and it is up to the municipal administration to work quickly to solve the problems presented by the masses to help raise the quality of the services and improve living conditions in the community.
