Mayabeque, Cuba: More than 200 students participated in the Eighth Event on Values, based in the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Mayabeque, located in the municipality of Güines, this time dedicated to the eternal Commander of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.
43 investigations related to topics such as: Fidel in Martí, Two men and one destiny, Principles of medical revolutions according to Fidel's perspective and his legacy to the new generations, among others were presented in four work commissions.
Four works received the status of Relevant and equal number of mentions. The paper "Fidel, a strategist for health", by the authors Leimys Fuentes and Thalía Moreno was one of those that stood out at the event. “We speak about the values addressed by Fidel in different speeches, a legacy for health professionals,” Leimys said.
The Bachelor of Social Sciences, Félix Rivero Marrero, responsible for the organizing commission, said that the works exhibited “have enough quality, this is the Eighth Values Event and we realize that the proposals are better, therefore, students have greater level of preparation as well as the teachers, the appointment shows a constant growth”.
