Mayabeque, Cuba: Researchers from the National Center for Agricultural Health (CENSA) in San José de las Lajas will participate in the VIII International Congress of Veterinary Sciences, to be held from today until November 7 at the Convention Center in the Cuban capital.
The central themes of the appointment are: Production of Medicines and Diagnostics, Reproduction, Biotechnology and Animal Improvement, Animal Health and Salubrity, Veterinary Public Health, Education and History of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Disaster Management, Animals of zoo, laboratory and aquatic organisms, Radio Camoa publishes.
During this event, CENSA, the event's sponsor center, will be honored at the opening ceremony with a commemorative diploma for its 50th Anniversary.
Among the researchers who will participate in this appointment are DrC Evelyn Lobo, Deputy General Director of Science, Innovation and Postgraduate at CENSA, María Irian Percedo, Pastor Alfonso, Felix Agüero and other leading specialists who will share scientific results on topics such as Classical Swine Plague, Food, Antimicrobial Resistance in the veterinary sector, Health Surveillance in Cuba and much more.
The center will also be represented in a stand at the associated exhibition at the Grand Foyer, where the products, services and postgraduate programs offered in the agricultural branch will be exhibited.
On the closing day of the Congress, DrCs Nivian Montes de Oca Martínez, General Director of CENSA, will give a keynote lecture on the theme “One Health: Global Challenges and Projections”, addressing the global need to increase communication and interdisciplinary collaboration in the health care of people, animals and the environment, understanding that all are linked to each other.
