Mayabeque, Cuba: November is the month chosen to start the sugar harvest in this province. The opening whistle will be assumed by the Base Business Unit (UEB) Boris Luis Santa Coloma, of Madruga, the central flagship of the territory, among the top 10 in the country.

A process to improve the agricultural areas and their facilities, the industry and the roof of the installation, one of the aspects of greater wear and tear, is about to end there.

These tasks include the improvement of the batey, where many of the workers who work in the sugar factory reside.

Jaruco is one of the municipalities that pay raw material to Boris Luis Santa Coloma. The preparations for the machinery that will be used in the harvest are about to be completed, with the aim of maintaining the systematic presence of cane in the tandem of the mill.
