Mayabeque, Cuba: The National Agriculture Projects Company (ENPA) is carrying out important actions to restore the waste treatment system of the Swine Breeding Base Business Unit of Melena del Sur.
The ENPA Engineer, Eloi MartÃnez, said they are working in the installation of oxidation ponds, decanters and the filtration well to process the spills of the pigsties and shed water with less percent of impurities abroad.
The also Service Specialist of the entity, one of the most important in Mayabeque, added that this project will allow the production of pork, an essential food in the diet of Cubans, to prevent contamination of the water table and not to affect the mangroves of the southern part of the province.
