Mayabeque, Cuba: From children to adults, from poetry to narrative. The literary creation of Madruga’s writer, Iván Domínguez Hernández, moves through this challenge.
This artist from Mayabeque performs a new project, which he explains has to do with certain legends of the territory.
“Reaching the narrative, after years of writing poetry, requires a lot of study and dedication to meet the demands of the genre,” Domínguez Hernández said.
"In the narrative the technique is not applied in the same way as in poetry and in that I still have a lot to learn," said Dominguez Hernandez who has already published two books of poetry for children and a third is now in the hands of the Montecallado publishing house from Mayabeque for evaluation.
The new literary endeavor motivates him, because creating is a constant in his life: "In me it is always present that need to address a blank paper and put certain feelings, that is intrinsic in the writer."
Passionate about good words, Iván Domínguez is committed to literature to form values and accentuate our cultural identity.
Soon, if this project is completed, the legends of Madruga would be told by Iván Domínguez Hernández.
