Mayabeque, Cuba: The educational work of the school library belonging to the semi-boarding school Frank País García, located in the urban center of the municipality of Nueva Paz, contributes to the formation of values in students.
According to the head of the cycle at the teaching institution, Yannelis Pérez López, the activities include reading and compression of texts about the Cuban revolutionary process, a propitious moment to interact on the revolutionary trajectory of great icons of the national history, such as the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, the Heroic Guerrilla Ernesto Guevara, José Martí, among other personalities.
The materialization of circles of interest for the future study of pedagogical careers and the realization of competitions take place on dates of special significance for Cubans.
“It is valid to recognize the interest of children in each meeting, because the school is the central axis of the wide and varied program of activities. Today the enrollment exceeds 200 students”, Pérez López said.
