Mayabeque, Cuba: More than 70 tons of sausage and mincemeat dough will increase the monthly productions of the Base Business Unit (UEB) Vegas Fridge in the municipality of Nueva Paz, once three modern machines for raw material processing are installed, coming from the meat industry of Mayabeque.

According to the director of the UEB, José Ricardo Armas, the work will be humanized and with improved conditions. The assembly will begin on November 11, because to date 30 percent of the process is done manually.

Since the inauguration of the entity on November 1, 2018, they did not execute an investment of this size. Today they have a specialized brigade, from the Cuban capital.

Besides the elaborations of sausage and mincemeat dough, using pork, beef and horse of first and second quality, the UEB stores 40 percent of meat products in two freezing tunnels and five refrigerators, the director said.
