Mayabeque, Cuba_ The member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) Onelio Aguilera Bermúdez, toured the Thermoelectric Power Station of the East Havana, located in Santa Cruz del Norte and was interested in the generation of more than 200 MW for the country's electric power system. 

Three generation units work synchronized to guarantee the electric power to the population and to state institutions.

The also head of the Western Army and General Division spoke with the director of the thermoelectric Omar Ramírez Mendoza and learned that the labor collective advocates professionalism, care for the environment and the distribution of electric power.

The Thermoelectric Power Station of the East Havana, celebrated its 30th anniversary, on September 22, 2017, as a tribute to its creator, the revolutionary leader Fidel Castro Ruz.

Aguilera Bermúdez, also learned about the work of the Western Petroleum Companies and the Mixta Energás with contributions to the Cuban socioeconomic development.

The First Secretary of the Party in Mayabeque, Juan Miguel García Díaz, and the president of the People's Power Assembly Tamara Valido Benítez, accompanied the Division General.
