Mayabeque, Cuba_ State entities in San José de las Lajas will benefit from new projects for the rehabilitation or construction of waste treatment systems, Radio Camoa publishes. 

The White Ceramic Company Adalberto Vidal, the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (INCA), the Institute of Animal Science (ICA), the Agrarian University Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez and the Aljibe unit are the entities in which these actions will be carried out.

Among the actions executed there is the soil study on the permeability of the land to avoid a possible contamination of the basin, carried out in areas of the Leopoldito Martínez General Teaching Hospital, with the aim of incorporating it into future projects.

Meanwhile, the Cantera San José de las Lajas Business Unit concluded in 2016 with an environmental investment of a waste treatment plant and at this time evaluates the possibility of reducing air pollution with the installation of new technologies.
