Mayabeque, Cuba_ The provincial assembly of the High-School Students Federation (FEEM by its Spanish initials), in Mayabeque, gathered 130 delegates from the 11 municipalities of the territory in a plenary session dedicated to Commander in Chief Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz and Ernesto Che Guevara. 

According to Juventud Rebelde the new provincial secretariat and the nine delegates to the national assembly were selected in the meeting, being chosen Lisbet González Blanco as president of the organization.

During the meeting, held at the Pedagogical Provincial School Pedro Albizu Campos, the young people discussed topics such as the urgency of vocational training to teachers profiles and to increase the income to the branch of teaching.

The Minister of Education, Ena Elsa Velázquez Cobiella, pointed out the imperative to develop strategies to achieve a closer relationship with the family and perfect the professional orientation towards these careers since the group level.

Velazquez urged to promote knowledge, promote the formation of values and teaching the history of Cuba, the duty of the FEEM before the study, the denunciation of the blockade imposed on the largest of the Antilles for more than five decades by States United, and the explicit anti-Cuban policy of its current Government.
