Mayabeque, Cuba_ Mayabeque professionals are participating in the V International Audiovisual Exhibition in Health Sciences, which takes place in the Student House of the Federation of University Students (FEU), Granma newspaper publishes. 

The objective of the meeting is to stimulate the creation of materials with health topics and to disseminate audiovisual works of a scientific nature, aimed at the advances and challenges of current medical teaching, audiovisual art and medical sciences.

17 exhibitions are competing this year, including documentaries, multimedia, television spots, television programs, radio spots and photography.

The Doctor in Information Sciences, Ileana Alfonso Sánchez, director of the National Information Center of Medical Sciences, said that the works are accessible and can be consulted from the Infomed portal, in the online catalog of audiovisual works, after the link www.obrasaudiovisuales.sld.cu.

Similarly, the coordinator of the meeting said that all these materials become part of the fund of the National Medical Library.

The winners of VideoSalud 2017 will be announced This Friday, although the biggest achievement is usually in the collective learning, which continues until next December 11 at the theoretical-virtual meeting.
