Mayabeque, Cuba_ Students from San José de las Lajas and from all Cuba are celebrating this November 17 the International Student's Day with the commitment of maintaining their leading role and being at the vanguard, Radio Camoa publishes.

This anniversary finds the Cuban student firm, in that perspective of being the fundamental clay of the work that is built daily as a worthy heir to the legacy of other generations that preceded it.

The date is of transcendental importance because it honors the action of a group of young Czechoslovakians, who determined to liberate their homeland from the Hitlerian yoke, staged a heroic resistance in the streets of Prague.

In honor of this event, Cuban students assume the commitment to grow in maturity and spirituality, to be an authentic, just, determined cultured and faithful force to the Revolution and to the legacy of Fidel.

Being a student means to prepare for the future that must find them as men and women of integrity.

The study, the research, the proper use of the school uniform, the respect for the established, the self-interest of each student to acquire greater knowledge and the defense of values ​​are essential aspects to be considered today and always.

This November 17th is the date of commitment to the students who yesterday made history and left to posterity the example that made them a symbol for these and future generations.
