San José de las Lajas, Mayabeque_ A Workshop on Hemophilia promoted by the Institute of Hematology and Immunology, will be held this Saturday, November 18 at the "José Martí" Cultural Society of the capital of Mayabeque, according to the Radio Camoa website. 

The meeting will begin at 9 am and will run throughout the day, Abigaíl Pérez Hernández, collaborator of the National Association of Hemophilia, said.

At the meeting will be present doctors and specialists from the different health institutions of the territory, leaders of the Party and the Government, members of the Health Direction in the municipality and the province, as well as patients interested in the subject.

Hemophilia is a hereditary disease characterized by a defect in blood coagulation due to the lack of one of the factors involved in it and manifested by persistent bleeding.
