Mayabeque, Cuba_ The women in Batabanó constitute a decisive force to a large extent in the results of the municipality that bet on 13 women elected as delegates and ratified one of them as president of the Municipal Assembly of the People's Power. 

Nedelis Delgado Felipe, who was the vice president, knows that the task leading the highest local body of state power in this territory, as established by the constitution, is difficult.

Deisy Pedroso Pared, who for seven and a half years has honorably represented the town of the coastal municipality, after an emotional farewell, at the end of the constituent assembly, visibly moved commented that for her that time meant a school.

The people know that they chose well, that the most important task today is the defense of the conquests of the Revolution and that when any work enlists the heart of a woman, it is invincible.
