In the presence of government, political and mass organizations officials, students, teachers and parents of the educational sector in the territory, the tribute to the educators of this capital of the Mayabeque province was carried out.
The Master Maribel Rodríguez Forte, director of the branch in the locality recalled the presence of Fidel Castro Ruz in all educational tasks, commitment today to reaffirm his example as a flag and shield to maintain his achievements, including Education.
In the same way, she sent congratulations to all the workers for their consecration and daily effort in the development of the educational process.
The appointment was the propitious moment to recognize the outstanding personnel with the Condition "Masters for the Homeland".
They also distinguished with the "José Tey" Medal awarded by the National Direction of the sector, workers who have devoted most of their years to the educational work.
During the celebration the pioneer Julio Hernández Hernández, from the Camilo Cienfuegos primary school, winner of the National Contest of Natural Sciences and his teacher Yaimir Leira, were recognized.
The act for the day of the educator was brightened by the cultural activities emanated from the workshops of creation of the municipal House of Culture and the own educational centers with choirs, dances, and soloists that enhanced the joy in this celebration.
On December 22, it is recalled the date on which the literacy teachers entered triumphantly after teaching to read and write in the Campaign of 1961, and since then it is dedicated to those who devote their efforts in educating and training students.
