Mayabeque, Cuba_ A generational meeting of affiliates to the educational sector took place at the José Martí Cultural Society of San José de las Lajas, capital of Mayabeque. 

Mercedes Guerra, director of the institution, explained that the appointment is part of the activities carried out by its members in tribute to teachers, Radio Camoa publishes.

Domingo Armando Guerra Alonso, teacher with more than 40 years in the profession, remembered with the young graduates and students of the Pedro Albizu Campo Pedagogical School, experiences from the battle for the sixth grade, the different teachings and the working faculty.

Acelia Herrera Ferro, a professor at Segundo Díaz Prado Pre-University Institute of San Nicolás and president of the José Martí Cultural Society in that locality, also presented her experiences as an educator through her various projects created in the community.

Emotive moment was the performance of the pioneer Lucía Travieso and the intervention of the poet Esther Trujillo from San José de las Lajas who through her verses toured the history of Cuba since the triumph of the Revolution, which earned her a standing ovation for the quality of the poetic work presented.

The activity ended in a broad exchange of young graduates, students of the pedagogical school with experienced teachers who raised their love for the teaching process and for the children.
