Mayabeque, Cuba_ With the fulfillment of the purchase of all assortments, the first non-agricultural Cooperative of Recyclable Waste from San José de las Lajas ends the year 2017.
The sales reached the 15 million pesos with 6,600 tons recovered at the end of the year and outstanding results in the acquisition of steel scrap, the leading product of this entity, at over 130 percent, bronze at 150 and stainless steel at 130.
Superiors to the same date last year the unit reported 619 thousand pesos of profits, which will benefit the fourteen workers associated with this new form of non-state management that will celebrate in 2018 its fifth anniversary of creation, Radio Camoa publishes.
The cooperative also complied with its state order thanks to the purchase of reusable products for the population and the state sector.
During the year that is just concluding, the workers prioritized the work with the pioneers to guarantee the collection of recyclable waste in the home and its importance for the care of the environment.
In 2018 they are committed to raising the stock of all assortments, according to Eida Pérez Hernández, president of the entity.
