Mayabeque, Cuba_ Specialists from the Science, Technology and Environment Department at the Provincial Administration in Mayabeque are preparing activities to salute the World Environment Day, to be held this June 5th, the digital site of Radio Camoa publishes.
Under the slogan Today's efforts are the guarantee of tomorrow, the day aims to educate and raise awareness in everybody in the care of natural resources, especially water and forests.
These preventive actions began on May 17, Farmer's Day, as recognition of the role of this sector in the development of our society, and will conclude on June 21st, Forestry worker’s Day, to honor the work of the province in the recovery of forests.
It is also dedicated to the 90th birthday of Fidel, greater environmental defender and promoter of scientific development in Cuba.
