Madruga, Mayabeque_ The workers of Boris Luis Santa Coloma Base Business Unit in Madruga, guarantee the sugar cane needed for more than 150 days of harvest.

Engineer Osmany Cuello Marrero, the company's chief producer in the municipality, reported that there are more than 300 thousand tons of the grass in the fields, according to estimates, which ensures grinding for compliance with the sugar production in the season.

Four mechanized cutting and raising equipment of recent acquisition, besides the other five already existing in the company, which together with the hand-cut brigades, will cut the raw material to be processed in the next contest.

Boris Luís Santa Coloma, from Madruga, concludes a stage of maintenance and repairs of its industry, as well as the development of some investments and his workers are prepared to make greater efforts to compensate the difficulties faced last year and to resume the production rhythm that characterizes that colossus of the municipality.
