Mayabeque_ Mayabeque’s football players are training in the grounds of San Nicolás, to form the pre-selection of the first category team in the province.

Wilder Diaz Alfonso, technical director of the team aspires again to climb to the first division in the National Ascent Tournament, to take place in Sancti Spiritus next January that will afford the two teams classified.

Mayabeque’s team shows higher quality, as far as athletes are concerned, when presenting a young but mature staff, due to their participation in several championships.

Another important factor is the inclusion of some athletes from the capital of the country, which will contribute with their experience to a higher performance.

In the pre selection stands out the goalkeepers Vismel Castellanos and Asterio Raydel Vallines, both with many years of experience, and the young Antuan Obregón, member of the Sub 17 National Team.

Fredy Yúnior Suarez and Dayron Bezanilla, are in the defense area, and they will count this year in the middle field with the international Alejandro Portal Oliva, supported by Ronald Hernandez.   Asiel Pozo with Luis Lázaro Castro Díaz will carry the weight of the forward line of the team.
